Rihanna is boring.

So Rihanna just released her first video from her new album Rated R titled "Wait Your Turn (The Wait Is Ova)" and of course there's plenty of symbolism in it. I'm not going to spend too much time on this video because I find the blatant symbolism surrounding her and Jay-Z to be pretty boring and I have more interesting topics to cover.
The video and pretty her entire career these days seem to be about fashion so the eye patch is no coincidence. Originally worn by sailors, the eye patch could also be a reference to the Eye of Horus which is also represented on her current album cover.
If there is Occult symbolism in popular culture you can pretty much bet David Bowie used it years ago so it should be of no surprise that he made the eye patch a fashion statement in the 70's during performances of "Rebel Rebel".
David Bowie using the eye patch for "Rebel Rebel" is interesting considering Lucifer was cast out of Heaven for rebelling against God. The lyrics "she's not sure if you're a boy of a girl" could also be a reference to Lucifer since Lucifer was said to be able to take the form of a male or female. There's also the connection to the androgynous Baphomet and David Bowie's own androgynous image. Also notice the lightning bolt, which Lady Gaga is now using, which is also a reference to Lucifer .There's also scenes of Rihanna in a church looking and acting anything but Holy. She even grabs her crotch as she sings "you know I'm such a lady".More Lucifer references as Rihanna becomes a fallen angel.There's also a lot lof shots of Rihanna on a bridge with lights all around. As I've stated before bridges often symbolize crossing over to another side. Has Rihanna chose the dark side?

13 year old Sable Starr started attending rock shows when she was 13 years old. She made a name for herself by sleeping with many well known rock musicians. By the time she was 15 she had already slapped skins with T-Rex, Iggy Pop, members of the New York Dolls, Keith Richards, and most surprisingly David Bowie. Christ's Musical Express

As a teenager David Bowie was my hero. He was dangerous, intelligent, mysterious, and sexually ambiguous. To enjoy his work was to step into a world of everything I'm interested - the dichotomy of religious and Occult symbolism, the dissection of traditional gender roles, and the satirical commentary on the idolatry of pop culture. He explored Satanism, Gnosticism, Kabbalah, and Christianity all under the iconic masks of characters such as Ziggy Stardus, Aladdin Sane, and the Thin White Duke.

It has long been known that David Bowie's work is full of Occult and Magickal references. In the 70's David Bowie introduced Kabbalah to the general public. In interviews he identified himself as a practicing Kabbalahlist. This declaration was one of David's many media manipulations; a few years earlier he had referred to himself as a Buddhist. Despite the questionable authenticity of Bowie's allegiance to Kabbalah, this very public association of a famous pop star with a, then, obscure spiritual practice brought Kabbalah (the inspiration behind Freemasonry) into the the mainstream and introduced Bowie next character, the Thin White Duke, as a Kabblahlist.



David Bowie's next album was titled Station to Station. In a 2001 interview Bowie admitted that the inspiration for the title and the lyrics to the title track was the cabbalistic (same as Kabbalah) tree of life and the fourteen landmarks on Christ's path to the crucifixtion (and conjuring up spirits; something I will get into later when we boogie with Madonna). This fusion of the Occult and Christianity is interesting and a concept I will return to later in this blog. For now let's stick to David Bowie.



the Kabbalah Tree of Life and the Chakras of the Kundalini represent the same thing, the merging of the feminine and masculine energies to obtain spirirual enlightenment. As I explained here, I believe that is what is behind the androgynous public personas of artists like Bowie, Prince, and Marilyn Manson who's work all contain esoteric symbolism.




The symbol often associated with the Kundalini is the Caduceus which is better known today as a symbol for the medical industry. As a teenager I wore a necklace with the symbol and I always got the question "Do you want to go into the medical field?".


The relationship between the Tree of Life and the Chakras is interesting because just as Bowie used train stations to symbolize a spiritual experience the band Love and Rockers, who were also mentioned here, associated trains with spirituality on their song "Kundalini Express".


Here's another one of their album covers which uses the 8 pointed star that I always write about here. It's interesting how it all starts to come together.

Years after David Bowie first introduced Kabbalah to the mainstream in the 70's, Kabbalah become a solidified pop culture staple when the ultimate pop star, Madonna, jusitified her love for the faith on a glabal scale. It is now common for celebrities such as Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Paris Hilton to be photographed sporting the infamous Kabbalah red strings and attending Kabbalah services; where as when Bowie first introduced it Kabbalah was seen as weird and satanic. Social conditioning?

In Madonna's 2008 Sticky & Sweet tour she performed her hit song "Music" wearing purple shorts (also note the rainbow belt with stars).

Purple is the color often associated with Kundalini as it symbolizes the red and blue (masculine and feminine) energies coming together (blue + red = purple). To top it off the video projection behind her is of a New York Subway (train).

The line "Do you like to boogie" reminds me of this video series where they explore Michael Jackson's "Rock With You" and the line "boogie" as association with spirits or entities, remember Bowie said one of the inspiration behind Station to Station was conjuring up spirits.

So where does Christ come into all of this? Besides Bowie's revelation that Christ was one of the inspirations behind Station to Station, a train was used in a VERY symbolic Christmas movie geared towards children.

The Polar Express is very symbolic and I find it interesting that a lot of Christians enjoy it. The film stars Tom Hanks who, in my opinion, is an Illuminati movie star but let's not go there because I don't want this blog entry to be about the Illuminati on the control behind the scenes.

The fusion of Christmas and the Occult was explored on Eyes Wide Shut as all of the rituals were performed during the "holiday" season". The 8 pointed star was also featured prominately during this film. The 8 pointed star is the symbol of regeneration as the snake sheds his skin, the intertwining snakes of the kundalini. It all relates to rebirth or as Madonna would say "re-invention".

Speaking of Madonna, she herself is a fusion between religion and the Occult. Her name signifies her Catholic faith yet she is a Kabbalahist. Her name represents a Goddess but her persona was that of a whore. Her current boy toy, Jesus, displays that same dichotomy. First of all the pairing of the Madonna and Jesus is incestuous. Since his pairing with Madonna the media has jumped on him presenting a darker image for him.
Here he is photographed for a recent photo shoot. Considering Walt Disney's rumored rumor pedophilia (and the age difference between Jesus and Madge), his "boy" shirt and Disney ears were an interesting choice.

Radio Star

“I know it sounds New Age, but in my meditation, this entity - which is called Metatron - he said, 'we want to hook you back to the radio airwave frequency. We want you to reach junior high schools, high schools and universities. Once you reach them - because we are going to connect you with the best artists of the day - then we want you to present them a new menu. Let them know that they are themselves, multidimensional spirits with enormous possibilities and opportunities. We want you to present them with a new form of existence that transcends religion, politics or the modus operandi of education today.'” - Carlos Santana

I recently ran across the above quote by Carlos Santana and it sparked by interest as I have always been interested in spirituality and lately have been pondering organized manipulation through New Age spiritual practices, which I will get more into in a future blog about Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey.

The concept of spiritual entities or experiences coming through on a symbolic radio wave is one that is all over popular culture. A few years ago Beck released a song called "Movie Theme" which touched on this very subject. In the song he sang "Listen to the voice / On the radio wave / Somebody needs you / Somebody who is on their way". That section of the song is very similar to what Carlos Santana was speaking about. Beck also sings the lyrics "Mind is awake, anything could lead me astray" which is what I meant by spiritual manipulation. By centering and clearing the mind you could be opening yourself up for anything to enter and distort if you are not spiritually prepared for the experience. It's the same reason big corporations use spiritual symbols because those symbols have power. By using symbolism that triggers our power sources, they can then use that harnessed energy to push whatever project or global operation they want. By simultaneously dumbing us down with the crap we see in popular culture we remain unaware of our spiritual essence and continue to sleep.

Speaking of symbolism, where there is symbolism there is Madonna, so of course Madonna has used the radio theme in her work. Unfortunately Warner Brothers disabled all of their official music from Youtube, so the following clip is a fan recorded clip of the performance.

The performance is a remix of Madonna's 2000 hit "Music" called "Music Inferno". The performance starts off with radio static and with each station there is a different Madonna song. The songs they chose are interesting because each one is symbolic but I won't get into that at the moment.
One of her dancers flashes the horns hand sign during the performance.

As usual the industry recycles ideas to use on their programmed sex kittens (they're all tools for the same purposes, just for different crowds) so Beyonce is using a similar theme on her current I Am Tour.

Again, similar concept, various Beyonce songs coming through on the radio as golden robots do some of her famous dance moves. The radio symbolism is representative of channeling spirits to create music. The headphones Beyonce's dancers are wearing are very similar to the ones Madonna's dancers wore in the performance of "Music" from 2001's Drowned World Tour.

Here we see Fergie performing "Boom Boom Pow" with the Black Eyed Peas in green headphones. She also wore the headphones in the music video for the song.

The video gets really strange as Fergie is shown with reptilian hands and four fingers while shapeshifting and changing colors.

This is all about the future shift with robots as the new man and the emergence of human/animal hybrids.

Here is another video by Felix Da Housecat called "Radio".
Like I said, the radio symbolism is about "channeling" spirits. Here we see two people meditating and channeling.
Here we see a bunch of people meditating in front of a bunch of radios. Why so many scenes of meditation in a music video for a song about a radio?
More meditation. This time we also see a leopard and the number 29 (2+9=11). Of course there's yet another radio.
Here we see a guy caged with a radio.

All of this radio symbolism led me back to David Bowie's song "Starman" which used the theme in a less subliminal way. In my opinion the lyrics are very blunt and pretty much explain what the symbolism is about. Surprisingly this song was a big hit. I wonder why no one questioned the lyrics.

So the song "Starman" is about channeling a man through a radio frequency. But who is the starman? Well, for the promotion of the Ziggy Stardust album, artist George Underwood drew the characters of the album as a part of the tour booklet.

So here is the Starman. He has an oversized alien-like head and a 6 pointed star above his name. So that's the entity the happy go lucky "Starman" song was about? The line "let the children boogie" ties back into Madonna's song "Music" as an electronic voice in the song sings "do you like to boogie?" Both songs are about the same thing. The Ziggy Stardust character carried through 4 albums; The Rise and the Fall of Ziggy, Aladdin Sane, Pin Ups, and Diamond Dogs. The four albums tell a story of a messiah-like character that comes from above and takes "it all too far", eventually leading the world to the apocalypse. The apocalypse theme comes in on the fourth and final album under the Ziggy Stardust character, Diamond Dogs.

On the cover Bowie is an animal/human hybrid of a human and dog. If Ziggy came from the stars and is haldf Dog could he be from the Dog Star Sirius?
