When Kylie Minogue performed at the EMA's in 2003 I noticed her and her dancing making a symbol with their bodies.
So they're symbolically speaking to you with their bodies. "Read my...body language".
It reminds me of the same symbol being made by Madonna and her dancers in "Human Nature".
